Terms and Conditions for TID Network Institution Membership
Effective From: 24-12-2025
These Terms and Conditions govern the participation of educational institutions, training providers, universities, schools, colleges, academies, corporate training centres, and other eligible organizations ("Institution") in the TID Network.
By submitting the online application and accepting these Terms and Conditions, the applicant institution agrees to comply with all policies, operational guidelines, and future amendments issued by the TID Authority.
1 Definitions
- TID means Trainee Identification Number assigned to an individual trainee.
- TID Network refers to the centralized trainee identification and credential management ecosystem.
- TID Authority means the authority responsible for administration, approval, monitoring, and management of the TID Network.
- Institution means the organization applying for or approved as a TID Network Institute.
2 Eligibility
- Only legally established organizations engaged in education, training, skill development, vocational education, or related activities are eligible to apply.
- The TID Authority reserves the right to seek additional documents to verify the legal existence and eligibility of the applicant institution.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee approval.
3 Approval of Membership
- Approval of an application is entirely at the discretion of the TID Authority.
- The TID Authority may approve, reject, defer, suspend, or cancel any application without assigning any reason.
- The decision of the TID Authority shall be final and binding.
4 Non-Refundable Application Fee
- The prescribed application fee is payable at the time of application.
- The application fee is non-refundable irrespective of whether the application is approved, rejected, withdrawn, or cancelled.
5 Membership Status
- Upon approval, the institution shall receive the status of "TID Network Institute."
- This status authorizes the institution only to access and use the TID Network services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- Membership does not create any ownership, partnership, agency, franchise, or employment relationship with the TID Authority or its technical partners.
6 Membership Validity and Renewal
- Institutional membership shall remain valid for one year from the date of approval unless suspended or cancelled earlier.
- The Annual Membership Fee for renewal shall be ₹2,000 plus applicable GST.
- However, the Annual Membership Fee shall be fully waived if the institution has successfully created or updated a minimum of 100 TID records during the immediately preceding membership year.
- The TID Authority reserves the right to revise renewal fees and waiver criteria in future.
7 Institutional Dashboard
- Approved institutions will receive secure access to an institutional dashboard.
- The institution shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of its login credentials.
- Any activity performed using the institutional account shall be deemed to have been performed by the institution itself.
8 Record Management
- The institution may use the dashboard to create new TID records, update trainee information, add educational qualifications, add examination results, record skill certifications, and maintain lifelong trainee records.
- The institution shall ensure that all information entered into the system is accurate, authentic, complete, and supported by official institutional records.
9 Record Update Charges
- The institution agrees to pay the prescribed Record Update Charges applicable from time to time.
- Each successful record submission or update shall be treated as an individual transaction for billing purposes.
- Charges shall be deducted from the institution's prepaid wallet.
10 Accuracy of Information
- The institution is solely responsible for the authenticity and correctness of all data uploaded to the TID Network.
- The TID Authority shall not be responsible for any incorrect, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information uploaded by an institution.
- The institution shall indemnify the TID Authority against any claim arising from inaccurate or false information submitted by it.
11 Use of ICTRD Branding
The TID platform is technically developed and maintained by ICTRD.
However, approval as a TID Network Institute does not constitute ICTRD accreditation, recognition, affiliation, certification, endorsement, partnership, or membership.
Accordingly, institutions shall not:
- Use the ICTRD logo.
- Claim ICTRD accreditation.
- Represent themselves as ICTRD-authorized institutions.
- Display ICTRD branding on certificates, websites, advertisements, prospectuses, brochures, or promotional materials.
- Issue any statement implying official association with ICTRD beyond participation in the TID Network.
Only the official "TID Network Institute" designation or logo, if separately provided by the TID Authority, may be used in accordance with applicable branding guidelines.
12 Intellectual Property
- All software, databases, interfaces, logos, trademarks, designs, documentation, and technology relating to the TID Network remain the exclusive intellectual property of the TID Authority and/or its respective owners.
- No ownership rights are transferred to participating institutions.
13 Suspension and Cancellation
- The TID Authority may suspend or terminate institutional membership at any time if:
- False information is submitted.
- Records are manipulated or misused.
- Unauthorized access is attempted.
- The institution violates these Terms and Conditions.
- The institution engages in activities detrimental to the integrity or reputation of the TID Network.
- Any legal or regulatory issue arises affecting the institution's eligibility.
- The TID Authority may suspend or cancel membership with or without prior notice wherever considered necessary for protecting the integrity of the TID Network.
14 Modification of Policies
- The TID Authority reserves the right to amend, modify, introduce, or withdraw any policy, operational procedure, fee, feature, or service at any time.
- Revised policies shall become effective upon publication on the official website or institutional dashboard.
- Continued use of the TID Network after such publication shall constitute acceptance of the revised policies.
15 Limitation of Liability
- The TID Authority shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or business losses arising from:
- System downtime.
- Internet connectivity issues.
- Incorrect data submitted by institutions.
- Delayed approvals.
- Third-party service failures.
- Force majeure events beyond reasonable control.
16 Confidentiality and Data Protection
- Institutions shall maintain the confidentiality of student information and comply with all applicable laws relating to privacy and data protection.
- The TID Authority may process institutional and trainee data solely for operational, verification, security, analytical, and statutory purposes.
17 Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
- Any dispute arising from participation in the TID Network shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra.
18 Acceptance
By selecting "I Agree" and submitting the online application, the applicant institution confirms that:
- It has read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
- All information provided is true and correct.
- The application has been submitted by an authorized representative of the institution.
- It agrees to comply with all current and future policies of the TID Authority.
- It accepts that the decisions of the TID Authority regarding approval, suspension, cancellation, and operational matters shall be final and binding.
